My Story
At eight years old, I attempted suicide for the first time.
By my early twenties, I had experienced homelessness, trauma, addiction, and more uncertainty than I thought I could survive. Looking back, no one would have predicted that one day I would become a 4x TEDx speaker, bestselling author, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate. But this isn’t a story about adversity. It’s a story about transformation.
Those experiences sparked a lifelong fascination with a simple question: What helps people overcome challenges, create meaningful change, and become more than their circumstances?
That question led me to study psychology, build businesses, write books, travel the world, and dedicate my life to helping others navigate adversity, strengthen wellbeing, and unlock their full potential.
Today, I am the founder of multiple mission-driven organizations and the recipient of a Certificate of Congressional Recognition and the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for community service. My work has been featured in publications including Munaluchi Bridal, LA Tribune, and Hudson Weekly.
Whether I’m speaking to corporate leaders, students, educators, nonprofits, or community organizations, my mission remains the same: to help people recognize that their circumstances do not determine their future.
Because when people understand their value, embrace growth, and have the courage to become more, they don’t just transform their own lives. They elevate the people, teams, and communities around them.
Transformation isn’t reserved for a select few. It belongs to anyone willing to take the next step forward.
Why I Do This Work
My experiences taught me that resilience isn’t something we’re born with—it’s something we build. Today, I help individuals, leaders, and organizations navigate adversity, strengthen wellbeing, and unlock their potential because I believe transformation is possible for everyone.
I believe that every organization is powered by people. When people learn to navigate challenges, embrace growth, and invest in their wellbeing, they don’t just transform their own lives—they strengthen the teams, organizations, and communities around them.
